Oasis Mission: Colony Sim
Colony is under attack
On first playthrough the game’s premise and overall idea of building a futuristic colony and protecting it in real time is a fun proposition. The game has minimal bugs, and while some systems feel undercooked like the combat systems, others like the modular ship building mechanic feel like a welcome addition to the genre. While the combat mechanics aren't quite where they should be, I do think the work to make them better has been solid. The game almost feels like a small-scale Sci-Fi Anno, and that combined with the price point of the game, and knowing this is a solo developer I can’t help but be positive about the journey thus far.
